Riego insuficiente
What you see
- Las hojas cuelgan flácidas y blandas, como si no tuvieran fuerza
- La maceta se siente muy ligera y el suelo se separa del borde
- La planta se recupera en horas después de regar
Why it happens
El sustrato se ha secado por completo. Macetas pequeñas, calor y plantas grandes secan rápido el sustrato.
What to do
- Riega despacio hasta que un poco salga por abajo; con tierra muy seca, riega en dos pasadas con diez minutos de diferencia
- Vuelve a revisar al día siguiente y mantén un ritmo más constante

- Levanta la maceta diariamente para aprender su peso seco
- Pasa a una maceta más grande cuando la planta bebe el volumen de una maceta al día
Easy to confuse with
- Riego excesivo: The whole plant droops with leaves that feel firm and swollen, not limp
- Podredumbre de raíces: The plant wilts even when the medium is wet
- Estrés por calor: Leaves fold upwards along the middle like a taco
