Why it happens

Il Pythium e organismi simili attaccano le radici che stanno in acqua calda, stagnante e povera di ossigeno. L'eccesso di acqua e i serbatoi sopra i circa 22 C sono le cause classiche.

What to do

  1. In terra, smetti di annaffiare finché il vaso non è leggero e migliora il drenaggio
  2. In idroponica, raffredda il serbatoio a 18-20°C, aggiungi aria, cambia l'acqua e pulisci il sistema
  3. I microrganismi benefici (prodotti a base di Bacillus o Trichoderma) aiutano le radici sane a riprendersi
  4. Taglia via solo le radici molli se vedi che rimangono radici bianche sane
