What does harvested too early or too late look like?

Early: most trichomes are still clear, pistils mostly white, effect thin and racy. Late: many amber trichomes, buds starting to lose smell, effect heavy and sleepy.

How do I prevent harvested too early or too late?

Start checking trichomes two weeks before the expected harvest.

What you see

Fin de floraison : nombreux trichomes ambrés, boutons commencent à perdre leur odeur, effet lourd et endormissant

Why it happens

The breeder's flowering time is an estimate. Trichomes tell the real ripeness.

What to do

Vérifie les trichomes sur les bourgeons (pas sur les feuilles sucrées) avec une loupe 60x
Récolte lorsque la plupart des trichomes sont laiteux avec 5 à 20 pour cent d'ambre pour un effet équilibré
Arrêtez l'apport d'engrais les 1 à 2 dernières semaines si votre gamme d'engrais le recommande
